Description: On the serene morning of 30th July 2025, the St. Mary’s Convent Inter College family, along with the proud parents of the newly elected leaders, gathered in unity and gratitude for the Investiture Ceremony of the Student Cabinet for the academic session 2025-26. The day commenced by invoking God’s blessings, seeking divine grace for all those entrusted with responsibilities. This was followed by a soulful depiction of the theme of the day – “The Quiet Seed, The Clear Call” – symbolising how silent growth nurtures strong leadership rooted in purpose and truth. The solemn Investiture Ceremony then unfolded, with the selected cabinet members taking their oaths of commitment and service. They were invested with sashes and badges by our Manager, Rev. Sr. Janet, our Principal, Rev. Sr. Marina, and the dedicated Teacher In-charges, Moderators, and Animators of the various cabinet posts. Their presence added meaning and dignity to the occasion. A defining moment of the ceremony was the maiden speech by Head Boy, Arhaan Hasan, whose heartfelt words stirred emotions across the gathering. His honest reflections and passionate call to serve captured the essence of leadership and filled the air with sincerity and hope. Further enriching the event was the address by Mrs. Shukla, mother of the Head Girl, who spoke on behalf of all parents. Her encouraging words resonated with gratitude and trust, acknowledging the nurturing environment of SMCIC. The event also celebrated the stellar achievement of Riddhi Gupta, a student of Class UKG-A who secured the Silver Medal at the 3rd Bhagwan Nimbark Open National Taekwondo Championship 2025, organised by USI. She was honoured on stage by Rev. Sr. Marina, who presented her with her medal, a certificate of appreciation, and a special Gold Medal from SMCIC as a token of pride and encouragement. The inspiring address by our Principal, Rev. Sr. Marina, infused the gathering with a renewed sense of purpose and unity. Her wise words reminded all of the sacred responsibility carried by every leader. The ceremony concluded on a patriotic note with the National Anthem, followed by a photo session of the newly invested cabinet .
